Refunded, in june 29 of 1638 with the name of Santos Apostoles Pedro and Pablo, located near of the reduction of San Javier and the Chimiray stream in the south of the reduction of San Jose.
Have a settlement continuous during all the century XIX, in 1871 the goverment of Corrientes transform to Apostoles in the 7ma. section of the department of Santo Tome, created a police and a office of mails, granted the category of town.
Corrientes, sanction the law of creation of the town agricola of Apostoles in 1877, in wich is disposed the first measure of the town and the colony, attemted a solution to the great quantity of inmigrants that is haved establishing in the zone.
In december 22 of 1881 when if sanction the law of creation of the National Territory of Misiones, the town of Apostoles, begin to form part of the department of san javier. The 20 of december de 1895 is created the department de Apostoles.
Start the colonized in 1.897 with the arrive of the first inmigrants Polish and Ucranians that it dedicated to the farming and specificly to cultivation of the yerba mate. the fundation and creation of the town of Apostoles, realized in august 1 of 1898.-
