The firsts settlers that ubicated in the location called Yerbal Viejo (later will adopt thel name Obera), were: Pedro and Juan Constantin (frenchs) in today we know like Beltrame avenue, Villa Lutz and neighborhood "Yerbal Viejo", Thorleif Bogh, Gunnar Qviding (norwegian), Carlos Eckstroumlm and Herman Kallsten (sweden), Samuel Hahstrasser and Herman Rudel (germans), Luciano Blanchard and Mauricio Bruel (frenchs).

In July 9 of 1928 founded Obera, in a ceremony that made; under the centennials trees of the San Martin square, descovered a little plaque that said "Obera-1928" . Was a simple ceremony that count with the assistence of people of this place and a group of aborigens that obey to the Luciano chief, they played musics; assisted in representation of the gobernor of the Territory of Misiones, the Dr. Hector Barreyro and the functionary Atilio de la Puente, and in representation of the settlers: Don Adolfo Lindstroumlm and his wife Doņa Diamantina
